What color handbag with a gray dress and purple shoes?
I'm going out to dinner for my boyfriend's birthday Friday night and I've got a cute new gray dress to wear (not silver, gray.) I found these great purple metallic crocodile shoes for a pop of color. What would you recommend as a complimentary color for a handbag? Is black too boring or a good choice because of the shoe color? What about teal?

Don't do black. I'd go with purple. You will have it by your gray dress.
If you could find a color of purple that is really similar to your shoes, it would look great.
